Vacuum – Sweeping or vacuuming the floor regularly using a soft brush attachment will remove dust, grit, dirt, and debris that can scratch or dull the floor finish.
Mop – Use a damp mop occasionally to clean the floor. Do not use a wet mop to clean the floor as excessive moisture may damage it.
Wipe – Wiping away spills as soon as they happen and not allowing standing liquids on your wood floor will help maintain its original condition.
Remove – For most spots and stains, a clean damp cloth can be used to clean your floors. Tougher spots such as those caused by oil, paint, markers, lipstick, ink, tar, or cigarette marks, call for the use acetone/nail polish remover on a clean white cloth, then wiping with a damp cloth.
Care – Be careful in selecting cleaners to be used on your Dreya floors. Harsh chemicals in the cleaning solution can break down the finish on your floor and leave it dull, faded, and lifeless. Follow your local retailer’s advice in choosing appropriate cleaners for your floor, always read the labels on the products that you purchase, and follow all instructions carefully.
